We are glad to learn that it is contemplated to hold a tea-meeting in the township of Ngaruawahia, and to apply any funds that may accrue to providing iesks and other necessaries for the local school. These meeting do good in more, ways than one. They are principally beneficial by establishing good feeling between the inhabitants of the district, vv e trust °that all will come forward and render any assistance in their power to make the undertaking, a success. We have received the first copy ofethe Homceopatkic Gazette. It is the best specimen- of printing we remember to have seen turned: out of a Zealand printing office. Messrs.. Reed and Brett, of the Bvening Star, being the typographers The author is F. A. Hartmann, M.D. In his: preface he states that the object of the production is—to use his own language —' * the wide diffusion of ft correct knowledge of the truth upon which homceopathic therapeutics are founded and of the advantages- or ; that practice."
