Mrs W. Benfell (Co-lac Bay) has tulined to her home after spending a few days as the guest of her sister a.t Alton Valley, Tuataperei- She was accompanied by Miss Pearl Benfell. Mr Trevor Mead, of Christchurch, is spending .an extended holiday with Miss Betty Dickson, Riverton. Mr and Mrs F. L. Girvan left art the beginning of the we k for an extended holiday in the North Island. f Mir, F. Trail, Napier Street, has returned homo after spending the winter in Wanganui. . Mrs A. Prevail, who spent the winter months in Invercargill, .has returned tp her home in Havelock Street. Nurses. P. Hancock and M. Shaw, Balclutha, visited Mrs B. C. Hancock, Palmerston Street, lasit week-end.
