OBITUARY
MRS R. T. EDWARDS
Tbe recent death at Invercargill of Mary Louisa (Minnie), wife of Mr Richard Thomas Edwards, of Pukerau, was learnt with regret by many of the older residents of Riverton. The- deceased lady was the elder daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Matthew Fallow, and was bora at Holmside, Otaitai Bush. After attending a private school for a short time she completed her education at the Riverton Distinct High School, afterwards helping her people with the domestic part of farm duties. ; She was married about 36 years ago, and the. young couple were farming at Otik'-rama., shortly afterwards* taking up the farm at Pukerau. The late Mrs jEdwards was a most kindly and hospitable lady, with always a, warm welcome for all. She was deeply interested in the work of the Women’s^ Institute and the Ladies’ Guild and P.W.M.U. of the Preshvteriae Church at Pukerau. She was interred at the Pukereu C metorv and is mourned by her husband, her two. sons, and hey three grandchildren.
