DENTAL CLINIC

It is now about twelve years ago that dental treatment for children in schools was first introduced into some of the schools of the Dominion, principally because of the disastrous-state of most of the teeth of New Zealanders, and its introduction proved so popular that special dental colleges were commenced where trainees could obtain the necessary knowledge and skill. So great has been the demand that only now is some of the leeway being overtaken and Riverton will be ■, enrolled on the list of sohools with a dental clinic. Appreciation of the efforts of the School Committee in the outcome of its efforts in the erection of the fine building that is to be opened to-morrow should be shown by a good attendance of citizens. The ladies are invited to bring a basket.
