DAIRYING AFFECTED IN WAIRARAPA
COUNTRYSIDE DRY AND FEED
SCARCE MASTERTON, April 4. Light rain set in last nighty and continued at intervals this morning, but it •”as not sufficient to do any good to pastures or gardens. The countryside is very dry and feed is so scorce that dairying is seriously affected, supplies of milk showing a substantial decrease. The position in the Wairarapa is I acute.
