IT'S EASY! - • The new maid is cleaning the windows. The, housewife is' anxious. i Housewife: 'Be careful that you do not fall out, Maria.' Maid: 'Not likely, ma'am. To-day's my afternoon off.' AS ORDERED, MA'AM. The lady had given a trampislilooking individual the job of mowing her lawn. When she saw it she said: 'You've cut it very badly!' •'Well/ said he, 'you said as W it wanted cuttin' very badly!'. I ALL ARRANGED. Phyllis was giving her mother "m- , structions for the evening.' 'Now, re- I member, dear, what I've asked, you to do,' she said. 'lf Archie colls, just phono Bob that I shan't he able to meet him to-night because I've got to keep an appointment with Peter.'
