MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the AthenaeumCommittee held on Monday was attended by Messrs J. A. C. Mackenzie (chairman), T. Borland, T. Winton, T J.. Abercrombie, A. D. Angus and Mrs trunnion. The Librarian reported that twelve children s books and sixteen novels had been placed o H the shelves during tho month, = The arrangement for alterations to the interior of the building was held over i„ the meantime. It was decided to purchase £5 worth oi books for the ensuing month Account* amounting to £lq 4 S 11( ] were passed for payment.
