MONTHLY -MEETING. The monthly meeting held i n the Rest Room on Thursday was well attended. The secretary was instructed to write a letter of thanks to the Borough Council for its generous donation of £2 A donation ot £25 has been received from the Invercargill Savings Bank and the secretary was instructed to write thanking them for the gift. The question of having a ° fire daily 111 tho was discussed and it was eventually '.‘solved to place a notice mi the mantelpiece ashing all visitors in need of a tire to inform Mr l) 0t lds at the PTunUet Cottage. T u order to ascertain how often a fire was required it was decided to keep a list, of names. It. was resolved to purchase a lire guard.
