' Mil 11. AKHUBST. ' It is with feelings of regret that we have to chronicle the- death of a wellknown and highly-esteemed resident of tho town in th© person of Mr Harry Akhurst, in his 66th year. Deceased spent his early days in Eiverton and for som© years managed the Empire Picture Company. During his long residence; the late Mr Akhurst took an active interest in all matters pertaining to the welfare of the town and his demise, will b e regretted by a large circle of friends. , f ~< ME GEORGE FLECK. There passed away at Eiverton on Monday a well-known settler in the person of Mr Georg e Fleck, in his 58th year. Deceased carried on farming for many years at Otaitai Bush and retired several years ago to settle in South Eiverton,
