SPECIAL ORDER, ]\TOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of tlie Riverton Borough Council, held ' on 29th day of, January, 192i\ a resolution was passed as folloivs: — The Riverton Borough Council, in pursuance and exercise of the' powers vested in it ' by “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and “ The Public Health 'Act, 1920,” hereby resolves by . special order ats follows— V here-as the Riverton Borough Council has made definite arrangements' by way of contract for a house refuse removal sendee from all dwellings, .boarding houses, shops, offices, and hotels situated within that- area comprising Blocks one (I), two (2), three (3), _ four (4), five (5),. seven (7), eight (B),’ and twelve (12), North 'Yard, Borough,of Riverton ; as from the first tlay of April, 1924, now, therefore, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf conferred upon it, the said Riverton. , Borough Council doth hergby resolve to make and levy a , uniform annual fee of one pound five shillings (£1 5/-) for the service aforesaid on the owners of every hotel, and to make and levy a uniform annual fee of one pound (£1) for the service aforesaid on the owners of every house, boarding house, shop and office in respect of each separately occupied premises, within the above-described area of North Ward. Such annual fees • shall be paid to the Treasurer of the l/orough of Riverton yearly in advance on Ist day of‘April, in each and every year.
