That was not the only credit to be accounted for. During the season the players had attainedl a position that any club should be proud of. The Club members were the winners of the four-rink championship, with 5 wins and no losses. The champion singles fell to S. L. Beer, while the doubles were won by Beer and Buddie. Mr Willett said the great success in bowling was a good green, and there was no doubt their gyeen had never been in better order. They should! endeavour, to keep up .a. high standard. It was a credit to their caretaker, Mr King, They should look ahead, and build up a fund for the purpose of erecting a pavilion. They already had a £SO donation.- from the estate of their late member, Mr W. J. Pankjiurst, and, they should now add to it, so that a pavilion, in. keeping with the beautiful surroundings could be built in the near future future.
The Chairman, in presenting Mr Scohie with the Gordon Cup, said members congratulated' him on his play and his success in winning it twice. Mr Scohie, in reply, said he was very pleased to win, but there was' a bit of luck in the final game. The Chairman said W. The worm casts had become very bad, aud when those were cut off by the mower it left bare patch.
