OBITUARY.

There passed away at her sister’s residence, Otaulau, on Wednesday last, a well-known and respected resident of this district in the person of Mrs Janet BruomhaU, widow of the late Ceo. Broom hall, and fourth daughter of tho late Benjamin Bailey, aged 50 years. The deceased lady was a native of Riverton, and was hold in tho highest esteem by a largo circle of friends. The funeral took place 10-day, the remains being followed to their last resting place in tho Riverton cemetery by a large number of friends.
