Mitchell and Co. report having had an entry of 30 horses at their usual sale on Saturday. The majority of the entry was of an ordinary class, but some really good draughts came forward. For the latter class there was spirited competition, and by auction and privately they disposed of nearly the whole the likely sorts at prices quite equal to those lately ruling. Some of the prices were: On account of W. Baird, one nice mare, £4O, and a colt at £35 ; lighter gelding at £2B 10s, and an aged do. at £l9 10s. On account other vendors they sold draughts at £35 10s. down to £2B for good <orts. ordinary, £25 to £ls; old and stiff not wanted. Hacks and light harness horses —On account Wm. Dawson, five-year-old gelding at £2O; account other vendors, £l4 to £lO for useful sorts; aged and weedy, £7 downwards.
