The first race was sailed last year, when tho following points were gained—iL. Petohell’s Sea Foam 4, 11. AkhUrst’s' Ripple 3, D. C. Robert son’s l Una 2. J. Andrew’s Mirth 1. The next race will start from the bridge on Wednesday, [Dee. I at 2-30 p.m. Fresh nominations'will be received for the series, the prizes being as follows—First Mr Akhurst’a trophy, second los, third 10s, fourth us. provided ten entries are received. The entry fee is 2s Cd a boat.
