Mitchell a nd Co. report— The attendance at our sale on (Saturday w a s rather smaller than usual, when an entry ol forty horses came forward, the majority of these 'being ordinary stamps, several showing signs of wear and tear. 'Mo offered a pair of nice fqur-year-old spring carters, but as -the vendor’s reserve was not recached at £57 we Passed them in Me sold draughts at £42,, £3oand £3O for useful horses, m former price for a six-year-old mare; others at; £25 to £ls i aged and stale £To to £.2. Hhcks and harness’ horses brought £l2 downwards. There is a brisk enquiry for young upstanding horses.
