“We 'had an entry of twenty five horses on Saturday, a varied assortment, the greater portion of the entry being aged ordinary draughts, witli a few young draughts. The class which was most scarce was solid young draughts, suitable lor heavy work, and for this class we had would J be buyers present who were not supplied. For the best of our entfy we had fair competition and sold draughts at up to £37 for useful animals, aged to £25; old and stale to £5 One useful spring carter £3l 10s, hacks and harness horses to £ls. We quote good draughts £3s' to£4o, extra £5 to £lo'more, hacks and harness horses £ls to £35 for reliable sorts.

General Produce.;—Potatoes, 50s to 60s, ‘Frisco onions 2d per lb, carrots 2s to 2s 6d, oats 10s. f Fruit.—Bananas 7s to 10s (yd, oranges 12s to 14s, pines 14s, lemons 14s, apples (Hobart) 12s fid, CaHorman do. 16s fid, rhubarb 2d to Id.
