A DOWIE WILL SET ASIDE.

Writes the American correspondent of the Dunedin Star ;—The heirs of Frederick Sutton, of Invercargill, in your part of the world, have filed a bill in the Circuit Court against Dr Dowie and his deacon, John G. Speicher, askihg that the will left by Sutton giving Dowie all his property be declared void on the grounds that Sutton was not of sound mind and body at the time the instrument was made. Sutton died on March 26 last at 1,254 Michageu aveime, a Dowie “hospice” The will that was made, it is alleged, was in handwriting of Speicher, and it is charged he was instrumental in securing Sutton’s signature. Sutton left an estate of more than £II,OOO. The heirs-at-law arc John Benniworth Sutton, George Sutton, and Charles Sutton, brothers; Mrs Ellen Edridge, a sister; and John Reid Sutton, Thomas George Suttou, Earnest Walter Sutton, Herbert Charles Sutton. Alice Cathriue Sutton, and Jessie Ellen Sutton, nephews and nieces. They all reside in New Zealand.
