CULPRIT IN REPLY.
..-; To the Editor gir,—Permit uio space to reply to " Nil Desperaadum." The person adopting that name says that be caooot pee tho drift ei my letter. Well, he inuat be thoroughly blind both mental ly and physically. It seems a shame to waste good ink and paper on him (or her). N. D., if I mistake not, does a gteat deal mor# gossiping than should lightly fail tahia or her share. Was N. D. relating a piece of family history in that little yarn of the " farmer and his pigs ?" I fancy that farmer »Hsfc hare been an ancestor of N. D.'e As for Ihs wording of my letter, I do not profess to be an adept in the art of letter writiog; bat Imnst refer N. D. to Buru't. faraonscoaph t: — " O, wad some power the pi f tie «ie us, To see oorsels as others tee ns." and if he has Half as much aen«e »'j ha professes to have, he will sue the applicability of it. In conclusion, I would advise "HD" «o "never despair "as with timj and oppjrtunity he, or ber, may Ibacome as great a snob ns ever he wishes to be.—l am, etc., Otaatau. Culpiit.
