The prices of last week created an impression tbat fat beasts were scarcer than they are, and some buyers made for the country to buy. Fat Sheep—2322 penned. The demand j was fair but prices were barely equal to last I week's. Prime orossbred wethers (heavy), 15s to 16s; good, 13s 6d to 14s 6d; light 12s to 13s ; prime ewes, 14s to 15s ; good, 12e6d ti 13s 6d ; medium, lis to 12s; inferlior, 9s to 10s 6d. For fat lambs prices were better than lest week, ranging up to lis 6d. Pigs—lß4 forward. The sale was brisk . and last week's prices were fully maintained.
