A committee meeting of above was held last evening in Foster’s Hall, Thornbury. Members present; The President (Mr J. Mclntyre), Messrs Hamilton, G. Reid, Hopcroft, Foster, Hudson, F. Sutton, Scales, Baird, Turnbull, Calder and the Secretary. The minutes of previous meeting having been read and confirmed, and no correspondence of any importance brought before the meeting, tenders were opened for the supply of 375 hurdles, when Eeid Bros, were the successful tenderers at Is I|d per hurdle; James A. Green being Is fid; S E. Feafherstone, Is 8d; Andrew Burns, Is lOd. The following judges were appointed for cattle show: —Horses: Messrs Jas. Galt (Bdendale), John Thomson (Dunedin), David Carson (Tokomairiro) ; Messrs Taggart, Hunter and Bannatyne, emergency. Cattle ; Messrs A. Galt, junr., G. Sutton, W. B. Kingswell; Messrs Willis, J. Hamilton (Winton), emergency. Sheep : D. McKercher, A. McNeill, Riddell (Pahia), Alex. Swhann. Pigs and Produce : Messrs Cleave, D. L. Matheson, R. Instone. Fowls: Messrs D. Kingsland and W. Batchelor (Invercargill). Yard Committee :■ — The President, Vice-President, and Messrs Hamilton, Hopcroft, Collie, R, Baird, Hazlett, and Hudson. Stewards: — Horses: Messrs Baird, Hudson, W. Hazlett, P. Cullen ; Sheep—Messrs Collie, Ross Robertson, and James Deacon • Cattle Messrs Lindsay, John and William Walker,^ 1 and D. Younger; Pigs, Poultry and Produce —Messrs Acheson, Fraser, Officer and Reid.

The President, Messrs Calder, and Sutton were appointed a sub-commit-tee to revise programme, to be submitted to a meeting to be held on the 6th Nov., at 6 p.rn., in Foster’s Hall. It was decided to sell the privileges by auction at a date to be fixed later on.
