“ Yes, indeed, sbe’s a daisy,” remarked a young broker, discussing the charms of a certain young lady. “ She dazes you, apparently,” replied his friend. “ What kind of sauce will you have with your steak ?” asked a waiter of a diner in a restaurant where the condiments were served wiih the orders. “If the steak is as tough aa yesterday’s, send in a couple of circular saws.” Taking things as they come is not ao very difficult. It’s parting with them as they go that’s hard.
