V. m. NOTICE. WHEREAS certain public works, that is to say, the construction of Western railways (from Riverton to Orepuki) have been authorised, and the land for the same taken by proclamation. Now, I, Edw n Mitchelson, the Minister for Public Works, do hereby publicly notify that I appoint the Public Works Office, Invercargill, to be the office at which persons claiming compensation for land taken for, or otherwise affected by, the said public works shall serve their claims, pursuant to “The Public Works Act, 1852.” EDWIN MITCHELSON.
