Sib ) —Noticing your paragraph in Saturday’s issue with regard to the above, I may tell .you, sir, there are worse things than a barrel-organ, when well in tune, as you doubtless thought when as a boy you followed it from street to street. If you will take a walk up Palmerston street between 8 and 10 any evening, vou will find a great deal more to complain about than the revolving machine, For of all the discordant sounds you have ever heard, you will hear there —the terror of all “ babbies,” and the admiration of ft few larrikins, who mistake “ brassy braying” for music. We do, indeed, want an inspector of nuisances.—l am, &c., Shocked.
