Tr. the House of Commons consideration of the Irish Land Bill in committee was resumed on the 9th inst., after Whitsuntide recess, and Ims continued at each sittting since that date. June 11. In the House o' Commons last night, in the course of the debate oil the Irish Land Bill, the Right Hon. W. E. Gladstone made a speech, in whi h he remonstrated against the action of the opposition towards the bill, and hinted that the Government 'was prepared, if necessary, to demand “ urgency’’ in order to ensure its speedy passage through the House. Rostau, at present Consul-General for Prance in Tunis, will be invested with the supreme control of Tunisian foreign relations, in terms of the treaty made with the Bey, , CoifsxATmsroPLE, June 15. The Porte has issued a circular to the Powers notifying that it will not recognise French protection of Tunisians residing in Turkish territory and under Ottoman rule. CapS Town, June 15.
