Dam, Tullop, one of the finest mares of Now South Wales, imported thence to Southland by the late Captain Howell. Tullop was the mother of the famous racehorse Sailor, to whom, on the dam’s side, therefore, His Excellency is brother. His Excellency is a dark chestnut, is strongly and symmetrically built, and better adapted for producing weight-carrying hacks than any animal shown this year.
