Fiust-Class Sailing Race, open to all boats. 2. Second-Class’ Sailing Race, (vide rule 2.) 3. Foue-Oaked Race, open to all amateurs. 4. Eour-Oahkd Race, open to all comers 5. Pace-Oared Race, with coxswain, open to all amateurs. 6. Paie-Oaked Race, open to all comers. 7. Bovs’ Paie-Oared Race, with coxswain, open to all boys under 16 year*. 8. Sculling Race, open to all comers. 9. Boys’ Sculling Race, open to all boys under 16 years. 10. Swimming Race, 11. Walking The Pole. 12. Duck Hunt. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. In all races, two boats to start, or no race, three or no second prize, five or no third prize. 2. Second-Class Sailing Race, open to all boats exclusive of those exceeding 18 feet keel, and the winners of the first and second prizes in the First-Class Sailing Race. 3. With the exception of those used in the amateur races, numbers 3 and 5,.a1l pulling boats to bo in-rigged and not to exceed 26tt in length over all. 4. Sailing boats to start from their moorings with all sails down, sprit sails furled to the must. No ballast toFe put in or taken out, no poles, or steer oars to be used during the race. 5. Sailing boats off the wind to give way to boats in a wind. 6. Boats meeting on a wind to port their helms. 7. Any boat wilfully fouling another boat will be disqualified. 8. All other sailing directions will be given on the day of the rac. 9. No person can enter a boat for the FirstClass Sailing Race unless he has paid a subscription of 10s, or for any other races ss, and then only.as coxswain or master. 10. No person will be allowed to enter more than one boat for any one race. • 11. No protest re classification of men or boats will be entertained unless made before starling, all others after arrival at winning post. 12. All protests to be made lo the judges, and to be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, to be forfeited if the Committee consider the protest trivial or vexatious. 13. The ju iges to have power to disqualify without further reference, and in all disputes the decision of the Committee to be final. 14. No interested members to vole on subject of i.i»puie, 15. All boats must fly a distinguishing flag not less i han one fool square. 16. AH offices held to be honorary, 17. Balance-Sheet lo be published within 21 days after the Regatta takes place. 18.
