OF THE WESTEKN STAK have much pleasure in notifying that that journal is issued now twice weekly, viz., WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY, The Westevn Star is the only journal published in tbe Western District of Southland, and in consequence has a large circulation in Riverton (the nearest town to the Longwood goldfield) t-lio udjai-ent important mining centres of orepaki and Round Hill, andJacobs' River, Thombury, Flint!!' Rush, Gummie's Bush, Groper's Bush, Wild Bush,. Waimatuku, Wnianiwa, Limestone Plains, Otautau, Oreti Hundred, Wrey'a Bush, &c. It also circulates in the districts of Invercargill, Win ton, Lunisden, Campbelltown, Wallacefown, and generally in every part, of Southland. TERMS OF SUBSCRIPTIONS. Alterations to standing advertisements must be in the hands of the Manager not later than thj Monday or Thursday before each publication. Trade Cards and Advertisements, to appear for twelve months and over, with right to occasional alteration of matter, at still lower rate of charge. Advertisements sent without the number of insertions being spoc-ified, will be regarded as standing advertisements, and continued until notice of discontinuance is forwarded in Notice to discontinue Advertisement (unless where number of insertions is mentioned on original order) must be forwarded, in writing addressed to tbe Manager, at the Publishing Office, Napier street, Riverton.
