Wallace Comity Gazette APAEIMA EOAD BOAED. ROADS PROPOSED TO BE STOPPED AND NEW ROADS OPENED. TYTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in pur- * euanee of section 93 of “ The Public Works Act, 1876,” that it is proposed to stop the following portions of roads, namely : —■ 1. It is proposed to stop the dotted track extending through Sections 1, 2,3, 10, and 33 of Block VIII, Jacob’s River Hundred, County of Wallace. 2. It is proposed to stop the road running through part of Sections II and 13, and also forming part of the eastern boundary of Sections 12 and 13, all of Block XII, New River Hundred, County of Southland. The said portions proposed to be stopped being coloured red on plans prepared for the Aparima Road Board in terms of the abovementioned Act, and open for public inspection at the store of Mr J. L. M'Donald, Riverton, for a period of twelve weeks from date hereof. And further: It is proposed to stop the following portions of road in the Jacob’s River Hundred, County of Wallace, and open other roads in lieu thereof, namely : 3. It is proposed to stop the road runnirg through Sections 60 and 61 of Block X, Jacob’s. River Hundred, and open in lieu thereof a road through .said Section 60 along its northern .boundary . 4. It is proposed to stop the road forming the south-west boundary of Section 43, Block VII, Jacob’s River Hundred, and open in lieu thereof a road through Sections 43 and 42 of said Block. 5. It is proposed to stop the road forming the south-east boundary of Sections 25, 26, 27, and 28, Block IX, Jacob’s River Hundred, and open in lieu thereof a road through Sections 19 and 25 of said Block along the the north-eastern boundary of said Sections; The said portions proposed to be stopped being coloured green on plans prepared and open for inspection as above-mentioned, and the said roads proposed to be opened in lieu of those stopped being coloured red on aforesaid plans, with bearings and distances as laid off thereon.
