Distance, 2 miles over 8 flights of hurdles 3ft Gin, list up. Entrance, 21s. 2. Maiden Plate of 15 sovs., for horses that hare never won public money. Distance, 1& mile. Weight for age. Entrance, 21s. ' 3. Trotting Race (Distance Handicap) of 10 sovs. Distance, 3 miles. lOst up. Entrance, 10s. 4. Riverton Handicap of 25 sovs., with sweep of £1 to go to second horse. Distance, 2 miles and a distance. Entrance, 21s. 5. Wallace Stakes of 20 sovs., restricted to district horses owned for at least three months from date in the County of Wallace. To be handicapped immediately after the Riverton Handicap has been run. Distance* mile. Entrance, 21s. 6. Hospital Race of 10 sovs. " Stakes and entrance money divided equally between winner and the Wallace and Fiord Hospital. Distance, 1 mile j catch weights. Entrance, 10s. 7. Consolation Handicap of sovs., for all beaten horses during the meeting. Distance, 1 mile. 8. Hack Selling Race. RULES AND REGULATIONS. No person to run a horse unless a subscriber o the Race Fund of at least 21s; All disputes arising through the racing shall be decided by the stewards, or a majority of them whose decision shall be final. Nominations for Hurdle Race, Maiden Plate, Riverton Handicap, and Wallace Stakes will be received by the Secretary up to 8 p.m on Friday, 14th May. Weights will be declared for the Handicaps on the 21st May. In the event of a walk over only half, the stakes will he given. The Dunedin Jockey Club Rules will ba strictly adhered to.
