NOTICE. r F‘HE GENERAL CONDITIONS under -*■ which the Council let contracts have been amended, as follows, via.— Deposits —On tenders up to L3OO, 5 percent, on amount of tender ; exceeding LSOO, 5 per cent, on the first LSOO, and 2|- per cent on the balance of amount of tender. All tenders must be opened in public at the County Offices. That enderers will require to be present, or represented by an agent authorised in writing. The successful tenderer must be prepared there and then to sign contract, either personally or by an agent authorised in writing to do so. No deposit will in future be returned by post. By order. G.
