' Per Wanganui, 11 bales wool, 6 bales rabbit skins, 2 bales sheep skins, 221 bales wool, Whittingham Bros, instone. > The cutter Rapid, a handsome Aucklandbuilt craft of twelve tons, arrived from Napier on 19tb inst. after a somewhat lengthy passage of twenty-four days. She has been purchased by several Riverton natives, for the fishing and sealing trade. The s.s.. Wanganui, paid her usual fortnightly visit to this port on Thursday evening, she discharged a large cargo, took in a quantity of rabbit skins, sheep skins, and wool, and sailed again the following day, for Dunedin, via Bluff. The Eliza M'Phoe arrived in the roadstead on Wednesday afternoon. She left Port Chalmers heads on Monday morning, and had fine weather down the coast.
