"Mav 21—Awarua’ schooner, 48 tons, Shephard, for the Snares ou a sealing cruise. •—■ The Jane Hannah, Captain Kerns, left Grey- ■ mouth on the 6th instant, and arrived at the Riverton jetty on the 20th. She experienced a heavy northerly gale on the West Coast, when off Milford Sound, which canned away her foreyard, and was hove-to for ten hours on the 19th instant. She brings 76 tons of coal, consigned to Mr: J. L. M'Donald, and will load timber for Lyttelton for Messrs. Cassals and M'Donald.
