The wool sales commence on the 27th instant, and up to date 42,000 bales have arrived.” Sheepskins.—There was a full attendance at our sale on Wednesday, but the biddings were languid, and prices obtained showed a slight decline in values. We sold butchers’ green-skh»— half-breds, 6s. each ; merinos, ss. to ss. 4d.; dry station skins—half-bred, ss. to ss. Bd.; merinos,, 2s. 9d. to 4s. Bd. Hides are in fair demand, and well-condi-tioned parcels command full rates. We sold medium weights at from 17s. 6d. to 18s.; light, at 16s. each. Grajn.—Wheat is dull of sale. The millers, having full supplies in hand, are buying sparingly. We quote first-class samples ss. to ss. 2d. per bushel; inferior, 4s. to 4s. 6d. Oats are offering more freely. We quote milling samples, 4s? 2d. to 4s. 3d.; feed, 4s. to 4s. Id. per bushel.
