Three to start, or no race; four, or no second prize ; five, or no third prize. Course below the bridge. Second-class sailing boat race, open to all boats not exceeding 20ft. in keel, except the winners of the first and second prizes in the first-class. Three to start, or no race; four, or no second prize ; five, or no third prize. Course to be chosen by committee. Four oar gig race. Two, or no race ; three, or no second prize ; five, or no third prize. Pair oar race, with coxswain. Open to all boats. Two, or no race; four, or no second prize. Scullers’s race, same. Boys’ race, same. Sailing boats to start from their moorings with all sails down. No ballast to be taken in or thrown out during the race. No oars or poles to be used during the sailing races, or steer oars. Sailing boats to leave all mooring buoys on the port side, pulling boats on the starboard. Sailing boats off the wind to give way to boats on the wind. Boats meeting on the wind to port their helms. Any boat wilfully fouling another, to be disqualified. No person can enter a boat for the first-class sailing race, unless a bona fide subscriber of 10s. For all other races 55., and then only coxswain or master. No handicapping allowed. All protests to be made to the judges immediately on arrival at the winning point. In all disputes the decision of the committee to bo final.
