POSTPONEMENT OF OPENING
(Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day
Owing to heavy rain late yesterday and last night the opening of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis championships has been postponed till this afternoon.
Southerly weather greatly cooled the atmosphere, but conditions have again changed, and the afternoon is likely to be warm.
