LARGE AND KEEN AUDIENCE
With their enthusiasm and (loyalty to their candidate unabated, even by the miserably cold and wet weather, some (500 to 700 (Supporters of Mr E. L. Cullen,, who is standing for Hawke’s Bay in the Labour interest, gatheneld at the Hastings Assembly Hall last evening to hear tlhe last local exposition of Labour’s policy ajnid criticism of the Government. Every seat in the hall was occupied, and (apparently in tlhe gallery of the hall also. MR CAMPBELL’S HEALTH STILL CONFINED TO HIS BED Mr H. To-night, therefore, he will be unfalble to join with Mr Cullen in mailing the customary speech of thanks to the electors.
