CONFESSION MADE TO POLICE

The body of Dr Frank Stanislaus Loughnan), aged 35, was found in his surgery at Fitzroy. Dr Loughnan had been battered, about the head, and a blood-stained tyre lever was beside the body. Last last night another medical man was-questioned by the police. Dt Loughnan was well-known in the Sporting world. Dr Allan's John Botham! ey, aged 45, of Johnston street, Fitzroy, was before the City Court to-day, charged with the murder of Dr Loughnan. Detective Hogg gave evidence that Dr BiOthamley visited the detective office last night and declared that he had killed Dr Loughnan. A detective said Hit had been alleged thali) an alignment occurred in connection with payment of money due for a .medical (practice with Dr Bothamley brought from Dr Loughnan. A serious altercation occurred in the surgery and Dr Loughnan died of severe wounds 'inflicted by a tyro lever. Dr Bothamley was remanded until December 4, 'bail being refused.
