LIBERAL GOVERNMENT THE QUEBEC ELECTION MONTREAL, November 25. In the Quebec elections, the Taschereau Liberal Government was returned by a narrow margin in the closest contest in Quebec’s election history. The final return showed: Government 47; Opposiitioinl 43. Members of the Government (dected included 46 Liberals and one Independent Liberal, while the Opposition group elected include 17 Conservatives and 26 Action Liberals arid Nationals. All pa.rty leaders were elected.
