LEADER VERY CONFIDENT FORTY-THREE OF FORTY-FOUR (Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, Last Night. “I am confident that the Labour Party will have 43 or 44 seats in the nlext Parliament,” said Mr M. J. Savage, in an interview on alighting from the express train this morning at ithe conclusion of his Dominion tour.

Mir Savage was met by about 50 supporters, including the detputy-Mayor, Mr Bernard Martin, and given musical honours.

*‘There’s interest in both the North and South Islands such as I've never seen before,” said Mr Savage, “I •have addressed overflow meetings leverywhere, which is a new experience for me.” .
