THE LONDON SALES RATES MAINTAINED LONDON, Nov. 20. At the wool sales 11,163 bales were offered, including 3849 New Zealand. New Zealand scoured Merinos. — Oxford: Top price 32£d, average 22d. Slipe halfbred lambs: "Fairfield,” top price 17d, average 15 l-4d. SYDNEY OFFERINGS SYDNEY, Nov. 21. At the wool sales 12,498 bales were offered and 11,894 sold; also ■560 privately. There was very strong inquiry for choice spinner wools with all other descriptions very firm. Competition was particularly keen and widespread. Greasy Merino sold to the Australian record price of :29id.
