FATAL ACCIDENT

A WOMAN THE VICTIM MOTOR-CYCLIST IN HOSPITAL (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, LaslS Night. The junction of Onslow road with the Hutt road was the scene of another accident last evening, when an unidentified woman was knocked down by a motor-cyclist and killed Instantaneously. Th® motor-cyclist is in hospital in a fairly serious condition. His name is David Lamont, aged 24, or 25, Bolton street, Petone. The woman received a compound fracture of the skull and’ a compound fracture of the upper section of the left leg, and injuries to her legs. Lamont was flung from his mount; and received extensive facial injuries. The accident occurred about 7.30.
