PRICE CUT OF 10 PER CENT AIR MINISTRY’S OVERTURE LONDON, August. 19. The Air Ministry has negotiated with aircraft manufacturers for a 10 per cent cut on the purchase price of the £2,000,000 worth of aeroplanes which the Air Ministry has decided to buy within 18 months, says the ‘ 'Daily Herald. ’ ’ The trade realises that it is to its advantage to cut prices when it is receiving orders as large as any handed out in war-time.
