The Weather Forecast

COLD AND SQUALLY

(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day. The general inference is that a depression has been crossing the Dominion and is being followed by an extensive anti-cyclone. The latter, I however, is still centred over the south-eastern area of Australia.

The forecast is for strong south-westerly winds, to gales; weather cold and squally, with heavy showers and in places hail; snow in the back country; seas rough to high.
