About 6372 Australian and New Zealand were sold. There is a good demand for all finer grades at steady rates, but merinos are 5 per cent below the highest of the series; inferior and faulty wools are irregular and withdrawals numerous. New Zealand scoured merinos. ‘'Glen Lyon,” made 24d per lb. highest and 22 7-8 d average. Greasy halfbred, "Takitu, ” made 14d highest and 13Jd average.
