ANOTHER BOON FOR THE PUBLIC , , z LOCALITY GUIDE IN RAILWAY TIMETABLE. Every office and home in New Zealand should be pleased to have a copy of the New Zealand Railways Timetable (popularly known as the “Pocket Guide ) which has an introductory section of 25 pages, appropriately titled “Locality Guide.” This gives an alphabetical list (about 2,000 names) of the towns, townships, suburbs or villages of the North and South Islands, within a certain range of railway stations. Opposite the name of each town is the name of the nearest railway station and the. number of the page in which such station is shown in the index of the timetable. The list will be kept up to date. Other good features ®f the book showing the .many ways in which the railways are helpful to the public are well maintained. A GOOD INVESTMENT OF SIXPENCE.

Support Your Own Town! » <J Do you realise that when you buy in other towns you help to pay their rates and taxes; you help to pay their wages; you help to pay their bad debts; you help tu pay for their improvements; you help to make them prosperous, and you rob your town of its progress, its trade and upkeep. Indirectly you rob yourself. You owe it to yourself and family to buy in your own town* BUY IN , WAIPUKURAU
