The death occurred in Hastings yesterday of Mr Richard Honeybun. brother (of Mr J. Honeybun, of Have- ’ lock North, at the age of 55 years. The British golfers, the Misses Phyllis Wade, Jessie Anderson, Pam Barton, and Mesdames Walker, Greenlees and Hodson, the last-niamed being team manager, have left London for Australia. Thirteen New Zealanders have attained the rank of flight lieutenant in the Royal Air Force among those at present serving or who are still on the reserve list. They are as follow: Flight Lieutenant L. C. Barling, Flight Lieu ■tenant I. A. Critehley, R. C. Handcock, L. E. Jarman, H. D. McGregor, A. C. Mitchell, H. D. F. Barnett, A. McKee. J. F. Moir and D. W. Smythe, still serving in the R.A.F. Three flight lieutenants are in the reserve list— Flight Lieutenants R. F. T. Grace E. W. R. Griffiths, and H. N. Hawker. Other New Zealanders still serving in the Royal Air Force include Flying Officers H. P. Hole (of Hatuma) 1 and C. L. Monckton (Mt. Herbert, z Waipukurau).
