WORK REFUSED
AT ROTORUA AERODROME TERMS OBJECTED TO
' (Per Press Associationj. i ROTORUA, Last Night. Twenty-four of the twenty-six men i selected to begin work at the Rotorua I aerodrome refused to undertake the I work on the terms laid down by the Unemployment Board when they re ported this morning. Subsequently a I meeting of relief workers was held at which about 40 were present, when l it was decided to call a genera ■ strike on all relief work in th( borough. I A demonstration has been arranged ! for to-morrow morning, anid it wa i decided to picket other jobs, if neces 1 sary, in order to compel all worker to join the strike. The men contend -that it is impos 7 sible to earn ordinary relief rates o wages on the aerodrome job.
