METER CONNECTION BREAKS THREE DEAD AT SYDNEY By Telegraph—Copyright—Press Asgn. SYDNEY, March 17. Three persons — Mary Williams, aged 49, James Paddon, aged 45, and John Gara, aged 50, were fatally gassed in a house in Darlinghurst of which they were the only occupants. It appears that a disconnected gas meter had been reconnected by means of a piece, of rubber tubing, w r hich burst under the pressure of the gas during Saturday night and the occupants of the house were found dead to-day. A cat and a dog in the house also expired.
