ATHLETIC EVENTS: 100, 220, 440, 880 yards and 1 mile, Relay Race, Ladies’ 75 and 100 yards, and Member'’ Race. Lunesdale Challenge Cup for most points in these events, and Miniature Cup for Ladies’ Events, 10, 11, and 12. CYCLING EVENTS: 2,4, 6 and 8 Laps (a lap approximates 560 yards). HIGHLAND EVENTS: 12 Dancing and 1 Piping Competition. HORSE EVENTS: 8 Competitions, including: Open, Pony and Ladies* Jumping Events, Turning, and Musical Chairs. NOVELTY EVENTS: Cotton Winding, Motor Car Driving Competition, I and Ladies’ and Gentlemens’ 3- ) legged Race. AEROPLANE FLIGHTS and Aerobatic Display' will be conducted bv Messrs MeNichcl Bros., and H.B. & E C. Aero Club. Entries for all Horse Events and Post Entry Events close at. Secretary’s Office half an hour before th.i event. Entries for Athletic. Events clo«e with the Secretary on Monday, December 24th, at 7 p.m., unless otherwise specified. For the convenience of Napier an 1 Hastings Athletic competitors, entr es, closing December 22nd, may be sei.t to Mr N. A. McKenzie, 87 Vigor Brown Street. Napier. Forms also obtainable from the same address. NOTICE to all intending Athletic Competitors: — Fees MUST accompany entries or they will DEFINITELY not be acknowledged.
