FAT LAMBS

RESULTS OF COMPETITION The following is the result of the awards in the district fat lamb competition which took place on Wednesday and Thursday. The lambs were first judged in the show pens by Mr Swinson, of Feilding, the awards being as follow: — Pen 971 (H. M. Glazebrook) 1, pen 977 (W. R. Maxwell) 2. pen 966 (Torran Station) 3, pen 969 (Mrs C. M. Richmond) v.h.c., pen 970 (H. M. Glazebrook) h.c., pen 976 (W. R. Maxwell) c. The lambs were subsequently judged on the book by Mr John Barr, of Hastings, for prizes presented by Messrs Nelson’s (N.Z.), Ltd., the results being as follow: —Pen 971 (H. M. Glazebrook) 1, pen 977 (W. R. Maxwell) 2, pen 982 (T. J. Thompson and Sons) 3, pen 981 (T. White) v.h.c., pen 966 .Torran Station) h.c.
